A musician of discipline, depth and elegance.
Marek Juran is a Slovak concert violinist and a member of the first violin section of the Slovak Philharmonic.
Before joining the orchestra in 2024, he performed for four years in the first violin section of the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra. His international work includes a recent tour of Japan with the Slovak Philharmonic. His professional experience combines orchestral discipline with a strong solo and chamber-music identity.
He began violin studies at the age of six, later studying at the Conservatory in Bratislava and for eight years at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. He completed his master's degree at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. Further artistic development has included courses with Jindrich Pazdera, Vadim Gluzman and Vesselin Paraskevov.
